Watchdog is a very usefull APP to help peoplewho are victims of stalking and/or bullism, especially women andyoung people, but also other persons who works alone and/or indangerous conditions or who live alone, such as old people.Watchdog is very easy to use.First of all, you have to insert a telephone number to contact incase of danger (for example your parents, your partner or one ofyour friend’s telephone number) Secondly , you have to touch theWatchdog Logo on your smartphone and the app will start to monitoryour smartphone’s rake angle.If your smartphone is positioned horizontally and it keeps thisinclination more than 30 seconds, the Watchdog APP will launch thealarm automatically. After the start up phase, these 3 followingoperations will automatically occur:1° : the App will call the number you previously set up.2°: the App will send a message with the address from where youlaunched the alarm.3°: the device automatically will make 15 minutes video to recordwhat is happening, in order to use it in case of trial.Once you are safe, you can disarm the alarm simply touching againthe Watchdog LogoDETAILSThe APP does all the operations in background. During themonitoring service you can regularly your smartphone paying not tokeep in a horizontal position. During the emercency phase, thephone seems to be in the Sleep Mode in order not to attract theattention of the aggressor. If the app can't detect the address itwill send the coordinates (latitude/longitude) in order to make theposition reachable in any case.SUGGESTIONSWe suggest to keep your smartphone always in your hand or in yourpocket and not inside your bag, because you might start the alarmeven when you don’t need help. For your first use of the monitoringservice, we advice you to shake your smartphone in order toregulate and calibrate the motion sensor.FURTHER UPGRADEIn the next upgrade, the video recorded by your device during thealarm phase will be sent to a Web Server so that, in case of theftor loss of your smartphone, you will be able to recover the videofrom the Watchdog web site.
